FAQs

What is your rate?

My rate is $85/hour.

How much is a consultation?

My consultations are free and are done virtually! You should be at your home for the consultation so I can see the space you would like organized. You can schedule a FREE consultation here.

Can my kids be here while we work?

Ideally, no. I have 2 kids myself and rarely have them at home while I clean or organize, which is helpful!

Are you okay with pets in my house while you organize?

They are fine to be home, but if they like to be in the way, “helping”, they should be sequestered to a different area of the home so they don’t get underfoot.

How long will my kitchen take to organize?

All kitchens vary but plan on your kitchen taking 4-6 hours minimum, depending on how many little items or food need to be sorted and organized.

Are you okay with cigarette smoke in the home or garage?

Unfortunately, I am extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and cannot work in a home that has had cigarette smoke inside or inside an attached garage.

Do I have to be there the whole time?

Not necessarily, but you will have to decide what stays or goes because I cannot make those choices for you! I’ve worked various ways with clients and we can always find something that will work best for you!

What should I do to prepare for our first session?

Usually, nothing! You could always clear a workspace on a table or a bed for me to set things on, but other than that…keep things as you have them!

Should I buy any organizational products before our first session?

Typically, no. Things can likely change and shift during the session, and products purchased ahead of time often don’t always work in the newly reorganized space. If you need to get anything ahead of time, we will discuss that during the consultation.

Do you ever travel out of Minnesota for clients?

Yes! I have traveled out of the Twin Cities and Minnesota for clients! The client pays for some of my travel expenses. Send me a message or email if you want me to travel to you!

Do you clean as well?

I do a small amount of cleaning, as needed, but I am not a house cleaner. I often vacuum, dust, or wipe down shelves to ensure things are nice by the end of the session.

Do you work with hoarders?

No, as I do not have the psychological background necessary to work with hoarders.

How do I determine if the home is a hoarding home?Hoarding is a psychological disorder, usually brought on by trauma. Levels range from 1-5, with level 1 not being a concern and level 5 being dangerous to both health and home.
